Answers to Your Questions
Why should I chose your services?
I have worked in the animal care field for many years, and I treat every pet as my own. I am passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment for every animal I care for, and peace of mind for you while you are away.
Do you have experience with different breeds, sizes or temperaments?
Do you only care for dogs and cats?
I care for dogs, cats, and some exotics. With a background as a trained veterinary technician, I am experienced in caring for a wide variety of pets.
How long are typical visits?
Do you offer overnight stays?
Are you insured/bonded?
Yes. Peace and Purpose Pet Care, LLC is fully insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI) to protect your pets and property.
How do I book services?
You can connect with me via links to my website, social media, email, or by phone.
After completing the client intake form on my website, I set up a complimentary “Meet and Greet.” The meet and greet is a great time for us to go over your pets routine, personality, and any important details about their care. It also helps me get to know their demeanor, so I can provide the best possible care.
Early booking is strongly recommended for weekends and holidays.
Will you update me while I am away?
Yes, I send you texts and photo updates daily, or as often as you request.
What is the payment process?
I keep a credit card on file, and all charges are run once services have been rendered.
What areas do you serve?
I serve clients in Dallas and the surrounding areas, including Collin County. Contact me to confirm service availability in your neighborhood.
Will I meet my pet sitter before services begin?
Yes! I offer a complimentary meet-and-greet to get to know you, your pets, and their routine before your first scheduled service.
Can you administer medications?
Yes. I can administer oral medications, injections (such as insulin), and topical treatments. You will provide all medical information, including medications, on your intake form.
What happens in case of an emergency?
I will contact you right away and take your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic if needed. In your intake paperwork, I have included information to fill out that includes the name, address and phone number of your veterinarian. Your pet’s health and safety is my top priority.
Do you charge extra for multiple pets?
I typically do not charge for a second pet. For households with three or more pets, a small fee may apply depending on care needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Short-notice cancellations may be subject to a fee.
What if my pet has behavioral challenges?
I am comfortable working with pets who are shy, anxious, or have special behavioral needs. However, for my safety, I reserve the right to decline services to animals displaying or who have a history of aggressive behavior. During the meet and greet, I will discuss your pet’s specific behavioral and emotional needs.
Do you offer holiday services?
Yes. I provide services on holidays. A small surcharge may apply, and holiday bookings fill up fast—please schedule early!
